Guest Game Writer and DesignerChris BernhardtBiography:   Hello, my name is Chris Bernhardt, I am President and CEO of Bernhardt Publishing LLC and Head Writer / designer for Judges Guild. I have also done some freelance work for Necromancer Games as well. I have been officially working in the industry since the year 2000, though truth be told, if you were to look at my life as a whole you could really say I have been involved in the industry for almost 30 years.   I have played RPG's since the year 1978 and from that time till now I have played many types of games such as board games, role playing games, LARPs, video games, card games, minitures games, etc. One could quite literally say I have 'done it all'. With all the vast experience I have at gaming, it was only natural that I gravitate toward a career in this industry. The fact that I enjoy the games so much means that I not only get to work with the things that I love but that I love what I do. Truly not something that most people can say theses days.   I am a published author, artist, and designer of games. I am currently working on the "City State of the Sea Kings" for Judges Guild, as well as working on a novel series based in the Judges Guild 'Wilderlands' fantasy realm. I also have several other items pending for a variety of genres, the most prevelant to me of these is a series of adventures for Star Trek based on a campaign I am currently running for my personal gaming group.   As with any bio, I must also mention those to whom I owe my sincerest thanks for all the help that got me here. My family, my friends, God, my collegues, and of course my wife who not only puts up with my faults but encourages me to chase my dreams. Books by Chris Bernhardt: |
